The designers did fail to keep the story going so if you want to see all the moves and gather achievements your going to have to beat the same short campaign over and over which will diminish some of the effort needed and the shock value. The campaign is too short, plain and simple yes lots of killing but story wise this is the abridged version of a murderous zombie killing book. It also has a few mini games that are fun to play and pay homage to some classic games no spoiler for you! Combat is not the only thing that keeps you surprised in this game everything from performing stunts, vaulting, jumping, pom-pom bashes all there to keep you going. This game will keep you busy if you intend to unlock more cheerleader/skanky moves. With a battery of moves to use your chainsaw, cannons and what ever you seem to get your hands on your going to find more ways to spew blood and rainbows everywhere.
The fun does not stop there killing zombies the main point of this game and it aims to please. Graphically Amir the Trucker Ninja is happy with this game. General gameplay is not the only sign of artwork fun, everything from shopping menus to costume changing screens have their own flair to give you a full lollipop experience.
Costumes for all characters are well detailed as this game uses its unreal engine to keep you playing. Visually this game is trippy, when playing your fighting the urge to not enter a seizure with all the sparkling rainbows and blood flying everywhere as Juliette does cheerleader inspired moves with a chainsaw killing things. Lollipop proved its pedigree with intense artwork and detail which stays true the general theme of the game. Grasshopper manufacture has already brought us Shadows of the Damned and Sine Mora two pretty decent games and the developers are known for going the extra length in art work. You pop this game in, you know there’s going to be a few surprises because its got some serious developers involved. Zombies, cheerleaders, some dudes head and a insanely girly chainsaw how could these be the formula for successes lets review it!
