3D beat-'em-ups were still rather novel and like many others it was a bit rough around the edges. I think the first 2K3 game still holds up as "decent but unspectacular". Very weird since the game had nothing to do with it.

Not sure about any actual graphic change in the games themselves, but I seem to recall the XBox Live version of the TMNT arcade game came with a border with the 2007 VGI Movie Turtles surrounding the arcade screen. The arcade ports of the 2k3 games of course had the entire soundtrack remade, the voices were also replaced with the 2k3 voice actors and I think perhaps some of the graphics also had 2k3 era designs. I think there's also some arcade1ups that have the original music? or is that wrong? These are only in the intro and likely the same versions that we'll be getting. The recent 1up cabinet replaced the original cartoon song with a cover and the TiT song with another one. I'm not really familiar enough with the arcade versions to know what has been removed and my research hasn't proven the best.įrom what I understand the original arcade game had the original cartoon theme song and TiT had the coming out of the shells song. What are the changes that the arcade game ports over the years have had?
